December 1978! I had just gotten home from a 2 1/2 month stay in the hospital. I had colon cancer and a very long recovery and healing time, unable to go home, due to several complications. The doctor finally let me go home a few days before Christmas. My husband and I had only been married since July 1 of that some year, and I was put in the hospital the 1st week of October. My brother had flown in from N.M. 2 days after my mother had returned to N.M. I was just 26 yrs old. Late at night, unable to fall asleep, I was watching the very old movie "The Song of Bernadette." This movie is about a young girl who sees Mary, "The Lady", when no one else does. She also talks to her and Bernadette follows her requests. One of which is digging with her hands to find water, which becames Lourdes. The town people think she is crazy and has her sent away. She becomes a Nun, etc. etc. etc. In the end "The Lady" comes to take her to heaven. Awesome movie! Anyway, when the movie ended I went to my knees and started crying out to God. "Why me, what terrible thing or things did I do to deserve this. I don't understand, I thought I was your child and that you loved me. Why are you doing this to me?" Well, all of a sudden I had a warming sensation start at the top of my head and go all the way down to my toes and then back up and out of the top of my head. I had the feeling of being lifted up and put in the most comforting lap I had ever sat in in my life. I heard that "still, small voice" say, "You are my child and I do love you. This has all been done for the glory of the Father, not because of something you have done. You are now healed my child." At the next round of testing from the doctors, there was absolutly no sign of cancer and my blood count was the best they had seen it. I have so much to be thankful for and am! Praise His Holy Name!! Just wanted to share that with all of you at this time of year. I have many other stories about that time of my life and journey with the Lord, that I will share with you an other time. Have a Blessed Christmas!! Love ya all, Deb[/b]

That is so awesome Deb. We serve an awesome God and his word is truth. Thanks for the sharing of your miracle with us. It inspires us to depend on him and to ask what we will and believe when we ask according to his word, he hears us and will give us the desires of our Hearts. Praise his holy name. Love Laurie

II Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.
