"The Story of What God Can Do With a Little!"

I want to share this email a friend of mine wrote to me. This will give all encouragement in the Lord. He will use any of us that will ask to be used. Praise God our God is so worthy of praise. I hope this blesses you the way it did me. Lyne and I started sharing Gods love over a year ago. At the time she was not attending church.

You're never going to believe this...I can't believe it myself! I started attending a church, because I was convicted about neglecting fellow shipping, falsely believing it was "ok" not to go to church...I know, elementary, it's never ok to willfully disobey. Well, I know that now, and I'm thankful that God loves us all enough to convict us when we stray.

Anyway, today I was one of the volunteers helping to serve at the church fund raising supper, and one of the ladies that teaches adult Bible School asked me if I'd be interested in becoming one of the adult Sunday School teachers!!!! My eyeballs are popping out of my head LOL.

You see, for the past almost year, I suppose, I've been starving to learn as much as I could, to search, to seek...and it was almost an obsession. I started filling these notebooks...spiral bound/college ruled/300 pages, and taking almost obsessively detailed notes in my studies, and wondering why on earth this had suddenly overtaken me. By nature, I'm a project quitter...I have half sewn curtains, half crocheted afghans, you name a project...I've started it and quit it...so what was this new thing? I am still literally filling notebook after notebook.

I started to experience audible answers to prayer, and in one such instant, I woke up half singing a praise song and heard, "I am the reward at the end of this." I was spending complete days doing nothing but working at this one task. Now I know, God has been preparing me to serve Him. LJ I haven't prayed to see if this is His will, and ask for confirmation yet...but I just can't believe it, it was so out of the blue! When I didn't answer the lady right away, she said, "Something just tells me you'd be good at it." I'm over the moon...and even THAT makes no sense! Ugghhh...I'm so happy about something I wouldn't normally want to do at all, it's like I'm not even me anymore and it's FANTASTIC!!! I feel like a bubble about to burst and this would give me an outlet to release the pressure, if that makes sense.

Please pray for me, LJ...please pray that I will become transparent, invisible, and that if this, indeed, is God's will for me, that no one will even remember what I look like, because all they can see is Him. Oh, to bring Him glory!! What a privilege!!!

Lyne, I am so happy for you. I am so happy you are reaching out for the spiritual blessings in life and not the earthly ones.

Our God will change the desires of our hearts if we allow him to come in. You have made me over the moon for you too.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the blessings you are adding to Lyne's life. I thank you Lord that as she seeks after you with her whole heart she will surely hear you and find you. Speak to her oh my GOD and prepare her for your ministry, for all we do in Jesus name is for your glory. You truly are an awesome God and nothing is impossible if we only believe. Father, bless her in everything she touches, bless her in everything she says. let her words be your words that many will come to know you by her faithfulness. Oh God, I pray for her hubby too. Let her be the light in his life that brings his name before your throne oh God that his name will be in the Lamb's book of life with ours. You never cease to amaze me God how you love your children and the things that we never think we can do you plant that desire in us and before we know you are acting and using us as vessels of honor for your kingdom. Anything is possible for you oh God and for this I give you praise. In Jesus name, amen.

Lyne can I use this story in CIP to give God praise or have you already posted it? People need to hear of these testimonies to give them a boost and to show how God is truly working in our lives. I do not know if you go in there but if you don't want to post it please give me permission to. You may also be able to mentor others in pogo as I do once they see what God is doing for you and through you. I do not mean actually becoming a mentor in there unless you just wanted to but people will seek out those that know God and will want what we have. God sends me people all the time in here. People I have never seen before.
It is awesome to help others find Jesus.

Yes, use my story, use as much or as little as you want to...encourage the saints, whatever the Lord leads you to use, use, it's not my story, it's His. "The Story of What God Can Do With a Little!"
