A friend and I were talking about this the other day and some interesting discussion came out of it...so thought I would ask this same question here and see what I got. Who is God to you personally and why? (put answers in your words..we all know who the bible says He is  ) |
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength , they shall mount up on wings as eagles. Then shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

God is someone who is always available to me when others may not be. He is my rock, a person I can turn to at any time to share in my joys, my sadness, & in times of uncertainty.
He loves me at all times! He is real and genuine! He provides for me and answers my prayers. He protects me, heals me. He is my Father who cares for me and I can't wait to meet Him face to face one day and live with Him forever and ever!! I love you precious Father!

God is my comforter, my protector, my provider, my best friend. He has always been beside me through anything I'm going through. Sometimes He laughs with me, sometimes He holds me while I cry. I love the warm feeling I get as He wraps His loving arms around me and holds me close. I can hear Him softly say "hang on, my child. The prize will be worth this tiny bit of pain now." I know He is always with me and sheltering me from the worse of the storms.

Char....I want to share with you what my asst. manager at work put on her facebook page. It really touched me and I know for a fact was something I 'really' needed to hear right now!
She wrote, "God will never permit any troubles to come upon us unless He has a specific plan by which great blessings can come out of the difficulty!" by Peter Marshall
Since I don't have facebook myself, I peek at our grandchildren occasionally through my husband's facebook and I truly believe that I was supposed to read those words that day. God is SO wonderful!
