Christ In Pogo Fellowship Ministry

We all need the affirmation of others and thus our faith can be strengthened through the bonds of love, caring and fellowship that have developed through this ministry. Basic spiritual and human values are shared together and subsequent friendships develop. Thank You Father for our brothers and sisters!

I don't mean for this to sound hateful.  It is difficult to pose a question like this without offending people.  But I digress..  When I joined CIP, the administrator was a fella named Jake. I exchanged dialogue with this fella right here on these boards and in a game room over at pogo, but whoops there is no Jake , it was Georgie posing as a man.  Not to sound like a broken record but I exchanged dialogue with Georgie right here on these boards and in game rooms over at pogo.  So I am left with just one nagging question...is Georgie real??  Or were we duped by yet another case of fraud. Granted it can't be considered fraud in the traditional sense, as there was no monetary loss, no breach of promise... But I ask, isn't there a cost?? Aren't we all a little damaged by the lies, by being abandoned by someone we tried to trust, someone who could offer some mentoring and leadership in this lost and broken world??  Perhaps it is too much to ask, or just plain way too much to expect.  I suppose I will simply offer a heartfelt apology to Jake or Georgie or whomever you were.  Sorry that we were such a burden that you had to bail without so much as a cursory goodbye. They said Georgie was sick.  I say so what, we killed Jake.  I know, I know...don't judge, be forgiving... I don't condemn whoever it was that led this farse. I would just like to know what the purpose was, and why it obviously failed so miserably.  You don't owe me an answer, and I certainly don't expect one, but that won't keep me from wondering.

Once upon a time there was a place for fellowship and prayer coupled with some fun and games.  It has passed away.

It truly is sad that this site has been abandoned.  I remember the days of prayer and fellowship.  This used to be a great place to come and hang out with other like minded Christians.  Georgie has indeed flown the coop and has left us hang. I used to love this woman and respect her, now not so much.  CIP has died and it really is a shame.

The Lord Himself is the source of hope because His character is unchanging, His love is steadfast, His promises will all come true, and His omnipotence determines our future! How wonderfully beautiful is this promise!!
