Old Scientific Discoveries
The Bible always runs a few thousand years ahead of "science". Notice the following facts that were revealed in the Bible long before man discovered them with telescopes, microscope, and scuba divers:
No actual "moon light" - Job 25:5 - Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
Light travels - Job 38:19 - Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
Stars cannot be counted - Genesis 15:5 - And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Cosmic light - Gen. 1:3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Earth suspended in space - Job 26:7 - He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Sound waves from stars - Job 38:7 - When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy
Earth not flat - Isaiah 40:22 - It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Running water more sanitary - Leviticus 15:13 - And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

Thank you so much for this post, most interesting. More and more we learn about our God, the more Awesome He is. And will still be learning when we get to heaven, can't wait !!
